Starting from June 2^nd, even young people between 20 and 29 years old will be able to book a vaccination appointment.

What about international students?

As you probably known, non-EU students are entitled to voluntary register with the Regional Health Service by paying an annual fee of 149,77€.

This registration guarantees access to all the services provided by the National health system. However, the issue of the EHIC (European Health Insurance Card) is not foreseen.

Therefore, international students are not in possession of tessera sanitaria, but they only have a certificate of temporary enrollment. This does not allow them to use the Lombardy Region online booking system, where tessera sanitaria details are requested.

But here is the good news: you still have the chance to book your vaccination!

How? By calling the free number 800894545.

You will need to communicate your tax code, codice assistito, residence/domicile address to an operator, who will let you know the assigned vaccination date.

Attention: it is possible that you will be asked to speak in Italian!
